Lamoille Valley Rail Trail
The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, once complete, will run 95 miles from Swanton to St. Johnsbury and be one of the longest rail trails in the United States. MSK has provided pro bono support to the Trail and Hans Huessy is an active member of the LVRT Committee, the entity spearheading the Trail’s construction. The Project involves complex regulatory and procedural issues, as it involves the replacement of major bridges along its route, preservation of the railroad right-of-way, and multiple state and federal agencies.
